The preparation of a perfect cup of tea

On In Recipes

For the preparation of a perfect cup of tea, we need more than quality tea. Water temperature, brewing time, even the tea cup, play a role in order to make and enjoy the perfect cup.

GREEN & GREEN FLAVORED TEA

1. 1 Mlesna tea bag or 1 teaspoon (aprox 2g) of loose leaf tea.

2. 250-300 ml water with temperature of 80 ºC . In order to achieve the correct temperature (if we don’t have a thermometer or a specialized kettle) we leave the boiling water for 2-3′ to cool down or use it before it boils, when the first big bubbles appear. It is really important not to use boiling or really hot water, it can cause the leaves to burn and the flavour to be ruined.

3. Ideal brewing time is 1-3′. (depending on the tea). After 3′ the tea will become bitter.

4. Optionally we can use a sweetener.

note. More than a few premium teas are prepared in their own unique way. Check out the label for more info.
