Description
The Gielle Tea Garden of Darjeeling is the sister garden of the Teesta Valley and was established in the 19th century. It extends at an altitude of 2500 to 4000 metres.
The Gielle is characterised by flowering teas with hints of grape (muscatel) which appear due to the traditional way of cultivation.
