Description
The Satemwa Tea Estate in Malawi is at an altitude of around 1,000 meters above sea level. Cup color is mahogany, the taste has light honey notes with a fine guava wood smoke character, rounded off by a chocolatey tip.
The Satemwa Tea Estate is not yet a household name, although the family-run tea estate, which was founded in 1923, has been producing wonderful teas for several years.
The Kay family, with its almost 1,800 employees at an altitude of around 1,000 meters above sea level, not only produces various tea grades for the tea industry, but also highly sought-after tea rarities.
Satemwa Tea Estate also has several sustainability certificates and supports many sustainable projects in Malawi.
