This compact, small asian-style Tea Set is a perfect companion to enjoy a cup of oolong or green tea with your significant other at home or while on travel.
The Tea Set is made from high-quality celadon ceramics and features a special crackle-style glazing that give the set a special, unique appearance. The dark green color comes from iron oxide in the glazing, no colors or paintings have been added to the glazing. This means no elements will leak into the tea. The Pot features an integrated filter to hold back the tea leaves. The two Cups can be used as lid as well as stand for the Pot.
Gong Fu Cha literally means “tea prepared with great skill”. This enjoyable way of drinking tea developed in China during the Ming Dynasty. Typical of this type of tea preparation are the very small, handleless tea bowls and a correspondingly small pot. The small pot always guarantees fresh tea, as the content is only enough for a few cups and therefore has to be refilled for each round.
