The matcha tea sieve, known as furui, is the essential tool for turning the matcha into a fine powder and breaking up any lumps as it enters the matcha bowl. It is made of light bamboo wood and has a sieve made of fine mesh. It has a special cut on the handle to stand on the matcha bowl. How to use: Place the sieve on the bowl and pass the matcha through before starting the preparation. Cleaning: Only with water. It does not go in the washing machine.
