Description
The unique design of this set, in which the handle seems to flow seamlessly from the body, was made possible through the use of a technique called slip casting in which slurry is poured into a plaster mold. The atmospheric finish is achieved by applying a specially formulated glaze onto the clay which contains iron.
The Moderato series of tableware features cups in which the handle seems to flow from the body. Moderato is word from the Italian language used to mean “just the right tempo” in musical notation. The name was selected out of the designers hope that users could enjoy daily life with the items at a tempo that was neither too fast nor too slow.
The teapot has capacity of 600 ml and the cups 230 ml.
