Description

Description

The tea leaves used for Gyokuro, days before harvest, are covered and grown in the shade, as a result the plant produces more chlorophyll. This gives a unique, smooth taste to the tea, with a strong freshness in the cup. It is considered the noblest of Japanese teas.
